Our outreach programs such as Tess in Mission, Gemma Project, Mission Seafarers and Operation Eyesight, just to name a few, continue to touch the lives of many. The possibilities are as diverse as the people in our congregation.
St. John's community ministry is about creating meaningful connections between people outside the church walls to cushion a possibly painful, life long learning journey. Transmitting the values, principles, experiences, questions, and thoughtfulness of the church, our passionate and diverse community strives to reach the lives of the homeless, mentally ill and transient people. With little resources, St. John's community ministers have shown considerable leadership running a homeless shelter, supporting single parents and initiating a safe house for women.
