St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church
Women of St. John

The Women of St. John's exists for the purpose of fellowship, the sharing of information and to awaken the creativity in all women. The WSJ gives all women in the parish an opportunity to work for the fulfillment of the goals of the parish, and through outreach into the community at large.

Baptism Services

The WSJ elect an Executive Committee each year consisting of a President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary and Members at Large.  The Executive meet monthly (or as needed) to plan and coordinate Funeral, Wedding or Baptism receptions, Spring Teas and our yearly Sugar Plum Tea.  The WSJ are also actively involved in many fundraising and outreach programmes of the church including the Homeless Shelter, Vancouver School of Theology and the Gemma Project.  For the past few years, the WSJ have also made substantial contributions to parish capital improvement projects.

If you would like to receive copies of the WSJ Executive meeting minutes, please contact the parish office to be added to the e-mail distribution list.
