Donna Lawrence has strong connections with St. John's Anglican Church. A parishioner for almost 40 years, Donna is a 4th-Generation St. John's Anglican - her grandmother, Dorothy Girling, was the first woman to serve on Church Council, and her mother, Beth Lawrence, literally wrote the book on St. John's history: "Faithful People of God".
Many of you know Donna as an active member of the choir, and as the coordinator of The Long, Long Night of Hope fundraiser in support of the Lookout Housing and Health Society's shelter on the North Shore. A parishioner for almost 40 years, Donna has also served on Church Council and Canonical Committees, helped plan silent retreats, served as Co-Chair of the Ministry Assessment Process in North Vancouver, and brought back the old tradition of decorating Christmas trees with the names of parishioners and their loved ones.
Donna says she is honoured and proud to be following in her mother's footsteps - Beth Lawrence was the office administrator back in the 1990's.
