Cafe Church is back at St. John's even if in a virtual way.  On Saturday, March 6 at 3:30pm we will be having our first Cafe Church of the new year.  It will also be an important one as we will be discussing the mental health effects of COVID - 19 with our special Guest Speaker Dr. Marilyn Chotem.

Dr. Marilyn Chotem is a Registered Psychologist with a private practice in West Vancouver. She has been a member of St. John’s since 2009, although she has returned to her Jewish roots and affiliates primarily with Har El Synagogue in West Vancouver. She is an avid follower of the contemplative path and reads Father Richard Rohr’s daily meditations from the Center for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico. She loves being active outdoors and considers her time in nature as her time with God. As mentioned she will be talking today about the Mental Health Effects of the pandemic and offer some ways of coping with the challenges Covid-19 presents.

Please find in the download below a helpful sheet of coping strategies and resources that Dr. Chotem has put together.

Please do come and join us as we reopen Cafe Church and talk about this very important concern.
