  are raising funds to help with a sponsorship of a family from Afghanistan
 . They are a couple with three teenage children\, currently waiting in Pak
 istan. They are very eager to start their new lives in Canada. This family
  has been sponsored by St. Alban's Church in Burnaby. We are assisting wit
 h helping to raise some of the funds the family needs to provide in order 
 to bring the refugees to Canada. All funds received will go toward settlem
 ent expenses for this family\, including rent\, food\, internet\, transit\
 , and clothing.\n\nWe have musicians who are ready to pull out all the sto
 ps for a wonderful and fun evening.\n\nBurger Holic food truck will be on 
 site starting at 5:30pm. They have all kinds of burgers\, including vegeta
 rian and vegan\, as well as fries\, onion rings\, chicken nuggets and othe
 r tasty things.\n\n\nFriday\, May 29 at St Agnes\, 530 E.12th St N Van.\n
