The Parish Council of St John's has decided to reopen our Church for in-person services on Sunday, September 20, 2020.  In the next couple of weeks we will be sending out much more information about how to make reservations for these services and what you may expect if you attend.

Please note that after our opening on Sunday, September 20 we will be having services on the first and third Sunday of each month.  We are also aiming to have a service every Sunday starting at Advent, Sunday, November 29.  Please also note that these in-person services until Advent will be a service of Morning Prayer, with no Eucharist.

I know there are many of you who are weary about returning to in-person services.  I fully understand and support any decision to remain at home, and rest assured we will continue to reach out and connect with you.  We will keep recording and offering our online service every Sunday, just as we have been doing.  Our Zoom Sunday Tea and Coffee Fellowship will continue every Sunday at 11:00am, as well as our weekday Morning Prayer at 9:00am.  Our Phone Ministry Team will also continue to be making calls to all our Parishioners every week.

I would like to thank our Wardens, Church Council and the Reopening Team very much for their time and hard work in this regard.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel more than free to contact me.

Let us all pray for our Church and a safe and successful reopening on Sunday, September 20.  Please keep safe and many blessings to you.

The Reverend Patrick Blaney
