On the Fifth Week of Giving

To bring just a wee little smile,

Jean said, “Bring in HOLIDAY TREATS!

Individually wrapped sweets by the pile!

Chocolates and candy canes, caramels too,

Something to brighten their day!

It’s our final week of giving, so let’s give big,

And give them a joyful Christmas Day!”

It’s time for our annual donation drive in support of the Lookout Shelter and North Shore Crisis Centre, and those in need around our community. There is no better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus than to help those who cannot help themselves. Whether you bring in one item or a bagful, you are helping people on the North Shore stay safe, healthy and warm this winter.

For five weeks, starting November 16-23, we invite you to bring in a specific item for Jean’s Box. These are the most-needed items, specifically chosen by Jean Welsh. Watch for our announcements in the newsletter to see what to bring each week.

Jean’s Box collects all year long, and you are always welcome to bring in other new or like-new clothing items and toiletries.
