A Glorious Celebration

A Wonderful Time Was Had By All!

Sunday, May 24th was no ordinary Pentecost Sunday at St. John's Church! The Holy Spirit was definitely present as we witnessed the baptism of Yunrong and Haofei, and we renewed our own baptismal vows. After the service, we gathered around the newly refurbished Memorial Garden, where many of our loved ones are interred. The garden was honoured with a special prayer led by Father Kevin Hunt and Deacon Shawn, and then received the baptismal waters. A lovely reception with sandwiches, sweets and tea finished the morning beautifully.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, especially those who travelled far for the occasion! We were blessed by your presence!
