Deacon Shawn and Alison delivered our Christmas Outreach cheques for over $1,000 each to Magnolia House (Lions Gate Hospital Foundation) and Pathways Serious Mental Illness Society. We spread goodwill by partnering with groups in our community that are making a difference for people in need. Thanks for your generous donations and for Hospitality & Fellowship matching the donations from their fundraising.
Magnolia House is a community-based mental health group home in our neighbourhood that provides short-term psychiatric emergency and crisis intervention. While they are funded by Vancouver Coastal Health, they always need some extra funds for items for the participants.
Pathways Serious Mental Illness Society in the Lower Lonsdale area is about families of loved ones living with a serious mental illness helping other families with this shared experience. They help families through support, education and advocacy. They are a volunteer-driven and membership-based family support organization doing ambitious work. https://pathwayssmi.org
