Clergy Update

We would like to update you on our clergy at St. John's.  As you are aware Reverend Patrick continues to hold the position of Rector in our parish and this is not changing.  As he remains on long-term disability leave, Archbishop John has appointed the Reverend Dr. Shawn Bullock to stay at St. John's following his ordination on June 27, 2026.  Shawn will move from Deacon-in-charge and Curate to full-time Priest-in-charge and Curate effective July 1, 2026.  This appointment provides the parish with continuity and stability during Patrick's long-term leave.  We are so thankful for the steady hand and care that the Reverend Georgina Harris has provided to all of us at St. John's since September 2025. We have been very blessed by her ministry among us.  We will express our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Georgina on Sunday, June 28th, and look forward to future opportunities for her to join us for Sunday worship.  We will also celebrate with and congratulate Shawn on Sunday, June 28th.  His ordination to the priesthood is on Saturday, June 27th at 10:30am at Christ Church Cathedral. All are invited to attend. It will be a most memorable service.
