Flowers for the Altar

At St. John's, there are many ways we provide gifts to the glory of God. One way is to donate fresh flower bouquets for the Sunday altar in thanksgiving for a blessing, birthday or anniversary, or in memory of a loved one.

The Flower Calendar for 2026 is in the Narthex (church entrance). Please sign up for the Sunday you would like to donate altar flowers, and note the occasion or person you are remembering. Alternatively, you can sign up by emailing the church office at stjohnnv@telus.net.

Please deliver the flowers you purchase to the Church early on Saturday morning for the Altar Guild to arrange. While ordering arranged flowers can be costly, you can usually pick up a few lovely bouquets for a reasonable price at your local corner store.
