When Hospitality & Fellowship tallied up the funds for our Hot Seniors Lunches, we found that people had donated generously. We have $525 that we are sending out to do good things in our neighbourhood. We are splitting the funds between three charities: $175 each to Lookout Society for the North Shore Shelter, North Shore Crisis Services for Sage Transition House, and Homeless Outreach through Jean Welsh & St. Andrew's Program. Our Stewardship Kick Off event Guess Who's Coming to Dinner raised $500 for the YWCA's 9 unit CentreView housing project for single mums and children located at 13th & Lonsdale. The open collection from our First Responders' Service was $200 and is on its way to the North Shore Rescue Society. In total we have raised $1.225 for our community. Wow!

This is in addition to the $7,500 that has gone to support refugees. Kingsley has also been collecting funds at the Welcome Table for the Primate's World Relief & Development Fund for Haitian Hurricane Relief. See Kingsley to donate. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to make a difference in the lives of others.
