It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan Curtis, a long-time member of the St. John's family. Joan was famous for her knitted crafts, which were always very popular at the Sugar Plum Craft Fair (now known as the Christmas Fair). Joan passed away this morning, October 26th, and is lovingly remembered by her neice Laura and her family.

Into your hands, O Lord, 
we humbly entrust our sister Joan.

Remember, O Lord,

this your servant,

who has gone before us with the sign of faith

and now rests in the sleep of peace.

According to your promises,

grant to her and to all who rest in Christ,

refreshment, light and peace;

through the same Christ our Lord.

 
Surround the family and friends of Joan with your love,  that they may have strength to meet the days to come. 
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
