On May 24th, 2026 we will be having a Memorial Garden Sunday.  The idea is to invite family and friends of those who have been interred in our Memorial Garden and have a special rededication of this sacred ground. It may sound like a long way off but plans are underway.

In preparation for this special Sunday, a small committee has been working on some refurbishments to the Memorial Garden. The previous plant material has been removed and the soil completely tilled. The hedge behind the stone seat has been trimmed to let more light into the area. The stone seat has been cleaned and repainted. A small meandering flagstone path has been added to provide better access and create a design. For the winter, several winter roses or hellebores have been planted and bulbs for the spring. Yet to come are a holder for fresh flowers and a plaque explaining what the Memorial Garden is and why it is there. As the weather warms up in the spring, more flowers will be added to the garden to make it a beautiful resting place for loved ones.
