I like this quote because it reminds me of Paul's 1 Corinthians message about what love is.  Paul concludes the passage saying, "And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love".  Both quotes underscore that love is and should be the foundation of our life and that faith and hope grow out of that foundation.  Faith, hope and love are inexorably intertwined, but love is the core of it all.
