I was looking for an inspirational quote about Advent and I found this one.  It expresses for me very well the literally breathtaking nature of Advent.  In the bleakness of the seeming absence of hope, joy, peace and love there is a silence that invites us to listen even harder.  It is hard to hear what is going on in the heavens, but we try.  We wait, we listen for the chorus of angels and the coming of Christ who will change everything.
