It was over 500 years ago when Leonardo da Vinci made this statement. How would his words have been considered back then?

Since then we have learned that water carves canyons from solid rock and reduces great stones to mere pebbles. Water can feed a garden or wash it away. Every living thing, from humans and animals to plants, trees and tiny microorganisms, needs water to survive. 

In this Season of Creation, give some thought to how water brings life into this world, and say a prayer of thanks for water.
