Bonhoeffer reminds us that the life of the church is an ever ongoing and living witness.  As we come together for this coming Welcome Back Sunday, his words call us to more than just gathering.  They invite us to lift our worship as a song of joy and to let our prayers flow with hope for our world.  In this spirit, our return is not only a homecoming, but also a sending forth into God’s mission with renewed strength and love.  The Rev.
