Here is this week's quote.  I hope you find it food for thought or inspiring or, better yet, both.  If you have any suggestions for quotes please pass them along to me.  I hope you enjoy this week's edition.

“My trust in God flows out of the experience of his loving me, day in and day out, whether the day is stormy or fair, whether I’m sick or in good health, whether I’m in a state of grace or disgrace.

"He comes to me where I live and loves me as I am.”

- Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Town, South Africa

This Sunday, October 5th,  will be a Contemplative Service, and this quote from Archbishop Desmond Tutu lends itself to contemplation in the Lectio Divina style.

Find a quiet place. Read through the quote, and let it sit with you for a few minutes.

Read through it again, and notice which word or phrase speaks to you in the moment. Contemplate why those words spoke to you.

Read through the passage a third time. What is God trying to say to you in these words? Give yourself time for God's message to reach you.

May God's blessings go with you today.
