This second week of Advent, we light the candle of Peace. John Lennon’s song “Imagine” has met with controversy over the last 55 years, as some say he disputes the existence of God and His heaven. That is not how I hear this song. To me, the words challenge us to live up to our faith; to realize that if you set aside our religious and political differences, we are all the same. We are all God’s children, we all want love and peace. We all hope for a better world. As we travel through Advent, let us pray for Peace - Peace within us, Peace in our homes, Peace in our World.
