On December 27th, the Anglican Church of Canada remembers St. John the Evangelist for whom our church is named. St. John was a fisherman who devoted his life to following Jesus along with his brother James. He was a beloved disciple to whom Jesus entrusted his mother and was a founder of the early church. This image from our Te Deum window, depicts St. John with the gospel, the cup and an eagle. An alternate day to celebrate St. John is May 6th.
