More participants than ever took part in the 10th annual Long, Long Night of Hope last Saturday, February 28th. They woke up with aches, pains, and at least one minor burn, and the satisfaction of knowing they had raised over $17,000.00 for the Lookout Society's North Shore Shelter. Many thanks to Diane and the H&F team for having the coffee on and breakfast set out early Sunday morning!!

Farid Madisa, who is on the Lookout Society's team, brought in a mat, blanket, pillow, and provisions, exactly what someone would get for the night if they arrived at an Extreme Weather Response shelter. Over the night and through the Sunday worship service, those examples sat at the altar, reminding us all of why we do what we do.

Paul Harmon and Owen Hynes from the Lookout Society surprised us with a plaque celebrating our 10-year partnership. We are so blessed by the connection between St. John's and Lookout, and we already have suggestions for next year's campaign!

Donations are still accepted until Sunday, March 15! Please help us get our fundraising total higher than ever!

Homelessness is not hopelessness. Be the Hope!
