God has been gently waking me up for years. After moving to Canada from England, I received a Gideons New Testament Bible in Grade 7. The words and stories of Jesus led me to seek confirmation as a Christian at St. Catherine's Capilano when I was 16 years old. Over the years since, I have been blessed to grow spiritually through Anglican worship, silent retreats and contemplative prayer, and opportunities to serve the church and wider community. This caring community of St. John's has shown me what the welcoming and compassionate love of Jesus is all about and I am blessed to journey with you.
