Blue Christmas at St. Andrew's United

The joint Blue Christmas service will be on Wednesday, December 17th at 6 pm at St. Andrew’s United Church at 1044 St. George’s Ave., North Vancouver. The Rev. Georgina Harris will be preaching. For many people the Christmas season is not necessarily a time of joy and peace. It could be a time of grieving the loss of a loved one or the loss of employment or some other personal challenge. The Blue Christmas service is for those who find themselves seeking a time for quiet reflection.

It is a quiet and thoughtful service that recognizes our pain, our losses, remembers those for whom we mourn this time of year and guides us toward the promise of new hope. If you are seeking some time for quiet reflection or feeling down this Christmas season or know someone who is, please join us for this special service.

This regional service is hosted by St. Andrew’s United Church, and the Anglican and Lutheran churches of North Vancouver. The Blue Christmas service alternates each year between St. Andrew's and St. John's.
