Join us on Sunday, January 4th as we celebrate the Feast of Epiphany with the arrival of the three Magi who followed the star to bring their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the newborn Jesus. This is the beginning of the season of Epiphany or manifestation of Jesus in the world.

Chalking the door is an Epiphany tradition. Front doors are marked with chalk and God's blessing is asked for all who live there. The symbols used for this year will be 20+C+M+B+26: the first and last numbers represent the year and the three initals represent the three Magi's names Caspar, Melchior, Balthasar, or "Christus Mansionem Benedicat" which means "May Christ Bless This Dwelling." A cross is placed between each set of numbers and letters.

Join us January 4th as we begin the service with a Chalking the Door liturgy, then take home some blessed chalk to mark your door with blessings for 2026.
