On the Fourth Week of Giving

To help fend off winter’s freeze,

Jean said, “Bring in ANYTHING!

Like jackets to block out the breeze!

Pants and pajamas, for women and men,

Blankets and cozy scarves, as well.

Warm shirts, gloves, mitts and slippers too!

Your gifts will be received so well!”

It’s time for our annual donation drive in support of the Lookout Shelter and North Shore Crisis Centre, and those in need around our community. There is no better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus than to help those who cannot help themselves. Whether you bring in one item or a bagful, you are helping people on the North Shore stay safe, healthy and warm this winter.

For five weeks, starting November 16-23, we invite you to bring in a specific item for Jean’s Box. These are the most-needed items, specifically chosen by Jean Welsh. Watch for our announcements in the newsletter to see what to bring each week.

Jean’s Box collects all year long, and you are always welcome to bring in other new or like-new clothing items and toiletries.
