Contemplative Resources And Links

Contemplative Spirituality Resource Links.

St. John's works with various forms of contemplative prayer including Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, Anglican Rosary, walking meditation, and other practices. Contemplative prayer followed by a time of reflection -- listening to CDs by leading Christian Contemplative teachers, or study of sacred scriptures; and discussion/sharing. Our goal is to deepen our lives in Christ experientially, and to support each other as we take this experience into our daily lives and relationships. Some meditation/contemplative prayer experience is recommended, and a willingness to respect and engage the personal challenges that accompany spiritual growth.
