We are happy to assist you if you are seeking baptism, if you are planning a wedding, or arranging a funeral.

Baptism

Baptism is the way in which the church receives people into the family of God to live life in a new way and with new meaning. At the time of baptism, the person is formally received as a member of the church, and may receive Holy Communion.

Baptism Services are usually held on festival days (Easter, Pentecost, All Saints and The Naming of Jesus). Those wishing to be baptized are asked to contact the Parish Office to arrange for a meeting with the Priest and enroll in Baptismal Preparation classes.

Weddings

Weddings are joyous and sacred events. Those interested in celebrating their marriage at St. John’s may contact the Parish Office to arrange a meeting with our Priest. Couples are invited to attend Marriage Preparation classes prior to the wedding. Our clergy and staff are happy to assist you with all aspects of your wedding event at St. John’s including hymns and liturgy selections, musicians, floral arrangements, the order of service and reception. Funerals are developed with families – each service is unique for the occasion and reflects the family’s needs and wishes. The death of a loved one can be a very stressful and painful time and the community of St John’s will do its best to help you and your family through this time.
